Dhokla is a sweet and tangy Gujarati dish. Dhoklas are spongy and soft. They are small pieces of cake made with (besan) which is known as Channa Dal floor. This cake is decorated with some mustard seeds and mint leaves, and served with green chillis and with coriander leaves chutney.

Maharashtra- Misal vdda Pav

MISAL PAV – A WATER BASED CURRIED PREPARATION OF COOKED SPROUTED LENTILS, SERVED WITH PAV AND LEMON WEDGES

Misal Vadda pav is a very popular Maharastra spicy dish. It is served with butter pav or bread. There are different varieties of Misal Pav such as Kolhapuri Misal, Nashik Misal, Puneri Misal, etc. This dish is topped with chopped onion, coriander, and with some lemon.
